AI Garage Sale

Haggling over the price of real products with an AI salesperson is the whole idea behind AI Garage Sale, an AI shopping assistant and chatbot that turns buying into a negotiation.

Instead of clicking add to cart at a fixed price, you chat with an AI seller and try to talk the price down.

A good pitch might get you a real deal.

The store carries a variety of products, and the AI handles both the pricing and the negotiating.

That is the fun part and also the catch.

You don't know how the AI will respond to an offer, so strategy is partly guesswork, and a lowball that works on one item may fail on the next.

Information about product quality or guarantees is limited, so you are taking some risk on what you buy.

AI Garage Sale sits somewhere between a game and a store.

It is handy for people who enjoy bargaining and don't mind an unpredictable seller.

If you want a fixed price, clear product details and a predictable checkout, a regular online shop will serve you better.
