BookGPTs

BookGPTs turns classic novels and plays into conversations. You pick a title such as Frankenstein or Romeo and Juliet and talk to an AI about it, instead of just reading alone.

BookGPTs is an AI reading assistant and chatbot for classic literature, built for general readers and educators who want a way into older texts.

Nothing needs to be coded or set up, so you can start asking questions about plot, characters or themes right away.

The idea is simple, and that is both the appeal and the limit.

It sits in the AI reader and large language model space, so what you get is dialogue about a book rather than a full study suite.

If you teach, it could work as a prompt for classroom discussion or a way for students to test their understanding of a story.

If you read for pleasure, it offers a second voice while you work through a tricky passage or a dense chapter.
