Bounie

Bounie is a news site that readers write themselves. Bounie is a user-contributed news website with an AI reporter, and it sits in the AI news category for people who want stories shaped by many voices instead of one newsroom.

Anyone can add to a story, so articles change over time as new contributions arrive.

The AI reporter helps with gathering information, which gives contributors a starting point before they write or edit.

The open model brings a trade-off.

Because the content is community-driven, it can carry bias or inaccurate claims, and quality will vary from story to story.

You should check sources yourself before relying on anything you read, and see a story as a work in progress rather than a finished report.

That fits readers who like following developing stories and comparing perspectives.

It works for them less if they need vetted reporting they can cite without extra checking.
