ChatPRD

Full access to ChatPRD requires a subscription, though the pricing plans are described as affordable.

ChatPRD is an AI copilot for product managers that writes product documentation such as PRDs from your prompts, so the quality of what you get back depends on the quality of what you put in.

It offers templates for different document types and can be customized to a specific role or company, which matters if your team has its own format.

Beyond drafting, ChatPRD gives AI-driven coaching and feedback on your writing.

It connects with Google Drive, Notion and Slack, so documents can sit alongside the tools you already use.

Leaning on AI for specs can dull your own critical thinking, and you are sending product details to a third party, so check how comfortable your team is with that.
