AI, which also goes by Paperguide, is an AI PDF tool that summarizes documents and answers questions about research papers.

It also works as a wider research workspace, with AI search, a reference manager, literature review and data extraction workbooks, and an AI writer.

The reference tools support 1000+ citation styles.

The free plan is $0 a month and gives you 10 AI generations a day, 500MB of storage and 300 AI writer words a day.

Workbooks on that plan take up to 5 columns.

Starter costs $9 a month and removes the generation and writer limits, with 10GB of storage and 8 columns.

Advanced is $16 a month, with unlimited storage, 50 columns and unlimited plagiarism checks.

The daily cap on the free tier is the main catch if you read a lot of papers.
