Made Live

You bring a story idea or a half-finished manuscript to Made Live, and the platform gives back AI-assisted guidance for turning it into an illustrated book you can self-publish.

It is a writing and self-publishing platform built for visual storytellers, with children's books as the clearest fit.

Made Live pairs its software with a community and with coaching, so the help is not limited to what the AI suggests on screen.

There is a 7-day free trial.

After that you need a software subscription, so the free label in the pricing model only covers the trial period.

Coaching sessions cost extra, which matters if you were counting on one-to-one help as part of the base price.

The Self-Publishing Club has limited cohort availability, so you may have to wait for a place rather than join whenever you like.

The focus is a strength if you are making picture books and want one place for drafting, structure and publishing steps.

If you write plain text fiction or nonfiction, a general AI writing assistant is probably a closer match than Made Live.
