Otto

Speaking your memories aloud and getting finished chapters back is the core of Otto, an AI book writing tool that turns spoken stories into polished memoirs.

You talk, Otto transcribes the audio with speech-to-text, and its story generator shapes the material into chapters.

That is handy for people who have a lifetime of stories but dread facing a blank page.

Guided prompts help you decide what to talk about, and premium story themes and customizable narrative formats let you change how the finished chapters read.

You can download and share chapters when they are ready.

There are three ways to pay.

The monthly plan costs $12.

The annual plan is $100 a year, which works out to about $8 a month and saves 17 percent.

The Legacy Lifetime option is a one-time $99 payment with lifetime access, family sharing, a complimentary consultation, founding member status, a say in the product roadmap and a 14-day full refund guarantee.

Monthly and annual plans include email support and regular feature updates.

At $99, the lifetime deal looks like the obvious pick if you plan to keep using Otto.
