Pixelfy

You type a description of the image you want into Pixelfy, or build it step by step with the prompt builder, and you get pixel art back.

Pixelfy is an AI pixel art generator that turns text prompts into pixel-style images, with customization options to adjust the result.

It sits in the wider AI image generator and AI art generator space, and the listing also covers background removal.

The prompt builder is the main help for beginners.

Instead of guessing which words make a good pixel art prompt, you assemble one from guided choices.

Expect some trial and error, though.

Getting the look you picture in your head may take a few rounds of tweaking.

Pixelfy is open source and runs on open source software, which will matter to people who prefer tools they can inspect.

The pricing model is free, and a free tier is available.

The catch is that free image generations are limited, so plan your prompts rather than firing off dozens of experiments in one sitting.
