Proctortrack

Verifying who is taking an online exam, and watching that the session stays honest, is the job Proctortrack handles for universities and colleges.

Proctortrack is an automated remote proctoring and identity verification tool from Verificient Technologies Inc, built on biometrics, computer vision and machine learning.

It is built for institutions of higher education running high-stakes online assessments.

The company sells it alongside several related products.

Veripass authenticates the data collected during real exams by comparing it against a baseline profile of the student.

ProctorTA, short for Teaching Assistant, is a browser lock for in-classroom exams.

ProctorDIY is a do-it-yourself live proctoring platform for K12, with a focus on student privacy.

As an AI monitor and face recognition product, Proctortrack sits in a sensitive area, since it watches students through their own devices.

Schools weighing it should look at how each product handles data and consent, and decide which of the four fits their setting: remote higher-ed exams, in-person classrooms, or K12 live proctoring.
