punchlines.ai

You write the set-up, punchlines.ai writes the punchline. That is the whole idea behind this AI joke generator, which works as a comedy writing partner for anyone drafting humor.

You type a set-up, the way you would open a line in a monologue, and the tool returns jokes built on it. punchlines.ai runs on OpenAI's GPT language models.

It has been fine-tuned on more than 10,000 late-night comedy monologue jokes, so the output leans toward topical, talk-show style humor rather than random one-liners.

That focus is the main thing separating punchlines.ai from a general text generator that you prompt to be funny.

The workflow suits people who already have the premise and need help with the turn.

Writers working on monologue-style material, social media posts or speeches could use it to get a batch of options to react to, then rewrite the ones that land.

Think of the results as raw material.

Comedy still depends on your judgement about which lines are actually funny, and a model trained on one style of joke will tend to sound like that style.
