Restore Photos

Got a faded, scratched or blurry family photo you want to bring back? Restore Photos is an AI photo restoration tool that repairs old pictures, sharpens blurry faces and adds color to black and white images.

It is free to use, which matters if you only have a handful of prints to scan and do not want to pay for software you will touch once.

The core of Restore Photos is three jobs.

It restores old photos, it retouches faces in higher definition, and it colorizes black and white shots.

Those are the tasks most people bring when they dig out a box of grandparents' pictures, and Restore Photos keeps the process simple: you upload an image and the AI does the repair work.

The site also lists other creative tools in the same area, including an AI image generator, an anime generator, a tattoo generator, a photo filter and a video generator.

Use those as extras.

The restoration, unblur and colorize features are the reason to visit, and they are the part to try first with a favorite old photo.
