Summio

Summio turns books, YouTube videos, articles and PDFs into AI summaries. It is an AI summarizer and reading companion that you can also chat with about a book, and it runs on iOS.

The free tier lets you try the app before paying.

Premium costs $39.99 a year, or $4.99 a month.

It gives you 20 AI summaries a month, unlimited chat with any book, all four source types, summaries up to 'long' depth, 20 public and 5 private collections, and YouTube MP3 export.

Max is $79.99 a year, or $9.99 a month, and raises the cap to 45 summaries a month.

It adds 'detailed' summary depth, all 27 languages, five tones of voice and early access to new tools.

The monthly summary limits are the catch, so a heavy reader will want to check which plan fits before committing.
