Tales Factory

Need a short illustrated story with a narrator, without drawing or recording anything yourself? Tales Factory is an AI story generator that produces complete storybooks in a web browser, with original illustrations and voice narration included.

You pick a genre, and the app writes the story, draws the pictures and reads it aloud.

Genres cover fantasy, sci-fi, romance and mystery, among others, so the range goes well beyond children's bedtime tales.

The stories are meant to be coherent from start to finish rather than loose fragments, and they can be personalized.

Tales Factory takes a few seconds to produce a finished book, which makes it handy for trying out several ideas in one sitting.

Because it combines writing, illustration and voice over in one place, you do not need separate tools for each step.

That is handy for parents, teachers and hobby writers who want a quick draft they can read or play back.

If you want fine control over every page layout, expect to be limited by what a generator gives you.
