Whisper AI

Whisper AI has been discontinued. The company voluntarily withdrew support for the Whisper Hearing System effective June 8th, 2023, citing a shift in business direction.

That means the product is no longer something you can count on for updates or service, so anyone still wearing one should think of it as an unsupported device.

Whisper AI was an AI hearing aid system that learned and adjusted to different listening environments.

It sat in the AI audio enhancer and voice enhancer space, with a healthcare angle that set it apart from consumer audio apps.

The system received software upgrades over time, which brought new features and sound processing improvements to the hardware people already owned.

That approach, improving the sound through software rather than only through new devices, was the core of the pitch.

If you are researching hearing aids, this page is mostly useful as a record of what Whisper AI was and when support ended.

For a current purchase, you would need to look at systems that are still maintained by their makers.
