Step 1. Open a web browser and go to paypal.com.
Step 2. Click “Sign In” in the upper right corner of the screen.
Enter the username and password associated with your PayPal account, then click “Log In”. The home page related to your account appears.
Step 3. Click on the “Menu” icon in the top right corner
From the screen. The menu icon consists of three horizontal lines. A list of menu items appears.
Step 4. Click on the “Settings” icon in the top right corner of the menu section. The settings icon looks like gear. Your PayPal profile screen appears.
Step 5. Scroll to the “Account Options” section, then close your account within this section.
Step 6. Click “Close” on the right to close your account. A dialog box appears and displays a message asking if you are sure you want to close your PayPal account. To confirm that you want to close your PayPal account, click the ‘Close Account’ button at the bottom of the dialog box.
Step 7. Open the PayPal account email account you just closed. After closing the account using the subject line, you will receive a message from service@paypal.com confirming that your account has been successfully closed and “Your PayPal account has been closed”. congratulation! You have successfully taken steps to cancel your PayPal account.
